Executive Director Children Social Care and Practice                                                          

Salary: Up to £130K

Bradford Children and Families Trust aims to create the highest quality children’s services for our communities.  It will operate independently to the Council and will have full responsibility for the delivery of care services to our children, young people and families across the District.

Following the appointment of our new Trust Chief Executive, Charlotte Ramsden, we are now looking for an experienced and inspirational children’s social care professional to join the senior leadership team as an Executive of the company.  With a focus on the best possible outcomes for our children and families, you will drive our improvement programme and lead the delivery of a whole range of social care services for children including social care assessment, planning and intervention, safeguarding, youth offending/youth services, early intervention, quality assurance and fostering, adoption, and residential care  You will be a member of the Trust Board,  contribute to our strategy, deliver our vision, motivate our colleagues and work collaboratively with  the Council to ensure all statutory responsibilities are discharged, as well as represent the Trust at local, regional and national levels through the development of strong partnerships.

A qualified social worker with extensive experience of leading the delivery of a high quality children’s services, transformation and improvement, this will give you the opportunity to act and think differently and develop  outcomes that improve the lives of children and families in Bradford.
